The AGC recently reported that skilled labor shortages in the construction industry are wide-spread, and particularly relevant among concrete workers (63%). This report is based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, which also found that new hires of younger construction workers continues to decline. Basically, Millennials don't want to work in construction, an assertion backed up by research from Kimmel & Associates.
